The KOM Finder Built for Wind-Aware Riders
KOM Hunter is the Strava KOM finder that tells you when to ride. Connect Strava and we'll rank every segment near you by today's wind. If you ride with a power meter, we compute your real odds of taking the KOM as a personalised Windfall Score. If you don't, you still see live tailwind speeds on every segment.
How the KOM finder works
Most "KOM finder" tools just dump a list of nearby Strava segments in front of you. That's a leaderboard, not a finder. KOM Hunter ranks each segment by a single Windfall Score: the odds, expressed as a percentage, that you can take the KOM or QOM in the conditions forecast for the time you're searching. Windfall Scores require a power meter on Strava; riders without one still see live tailwind speeds for every segment instead.
Live wind data
Hour-by-hour wind speed and direction matched to each segment's exact orientation.
Your Strava power
If you ride with a power meter, we pull your power profile from Strava so the Windfall Score reflects what you can actually do, not a generic FTP guess. Riders without one still see live tailwind speeds for every segment.
Segment history
Current KOM time, popularity, and how often it changes hands - so you skip impossible segments and chase the soft ones.
Built for actual KOM hunting, not browsing
Open the dashboard, set your start location, and KOM Hunter returns up to 50 segments ranked Strong → Good → Fair → Low. The day-and-hour slider lets you peek 3 days into the future to plan tomorrow morning's ride or this weekend's KOM attempt. Premium users can chain multiple high-Windfall segments into a single rideable GPX route, and Radar emails you when conditions in your area cross a Windfall threshold you set.
