The Strava Segment Hunter for KOM-Winning Days
KOM Hunter is the Strava segment hunter that ranks every segment near you by today's wind. If you ride with a power meter, we compute your real odds of taking the KOM as a personalised Windfall Score. If you don't, you still see live tailwind speeds on every segment.
Why a smart segment hunter beats a list
Strava already shows you nearby segments. What it doesn't show you is which ones you can actually win. A 90-second flat sprint segment with a stiff headwind today is not the same opportunity as the same segment with a 15 mph tailwind tomorrow, and a 20-minute climb whose KOM is set by a national-level pro is not the same opportunity as a similar climb with a soft KOM time.
For power-meter riders, KOM Hunter assigns every segment a single Windfall Score so you can scan a list of 50 segments and instantly see which two or three are worth chasing. Strong (120+) means conditions are loaded; Low (under 70) means save your legs. Riders without a power meter still see live tailwind speeds on every segment, so you can plan a tailwind ride either way.
