Filter by paved or unpaved segments

You can now filter segments by surface type on the Segments page.

Three options

• All (default) - shows every segment
• Paved - asphalt and concrete roads
• Unpaved - gravel, dirt, and mixed surfaces

The filter sits in the always-visible filter bar alongside sprint and climb filters. Select a surface type and the map and list update instantly.

Why it matters

A gravel segment on a loose fire road and a road segment on smooth asphalt are completely different efforts: different bikes, different tyres, different power profiles. Filtering by surface lets you focus on KOMs that are actually relevant to how you ride.

The filter works alongside all other filters, so you can combine it to find things like unpaved climbs or paved sprints.
